1. Who we are
This site is run by Hanyu Filming Studio (SSM 202103146940, CA0324496-P), a sole proprietorship owned by Sirion Wang, based in Batu Caves, Selangor, Malaysia. We are the data user under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).

2. What we collect
- When you contact us by email or WhatsApp: your name, phone number, email address, company, and whatever you choose to tell us about your project.
- When you become a client: billing details, company registration details, and the project information needed to plan and deliver the work.
- When you visit the site: anonymous usage statistics, such as pages viewed, how far down the page you scrolled, what you clicked, your device type, browser, country and the site that referred you. See section 5.
The site has no forms and no accounts. We do not ask for your IC number, and we do not need it to quote or deliver a project.
3. Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote.
- To plan, shoot, deliver and invoice a project you have engaged us for.
- To keep records required by Malaysian tax and business law.
- To understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
Giving us your contact details is voluntary. If you do not, we simply cannot reply to you or work with you.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising or send you marketing you did not ask for.
4. Who else handles it
We share personal data only with services that help us run the studio, and only as far as they need it:
- Netlify (website hosting) and Cloudflare (video delivery).
- Microsoft Clarity (site usage statistics, see section 5).
- Google (web fonts, email) and Meta (WhatsApp), when you contact us through them.
- Vimeo and YouTube, only when you press play on a film hosted there.
- Our accountant and, where a project needs it, crew or partner production houses working on that project.
Some of these providers store data outside Malaysia, including in the United States. We use established providers that apply their own security and privacy safeguards.
5. Site statistics and cookies
The site itself sets no cookies. It remembers your language choice (English or Chinese) in your browser's local storage, which never leaves your device.
We use Microsoft Clarity to see how people use the site: visitor counts, which sections people read, where they stop scrolling, and what they click, including whether someone tapped a WhatsApp, email or phone link. It runs in Clarity's cookieless mode, so this site does not ask it to store tracking cookies on your device. Clarity may record anonymised sessions of mouse movement and scrolling; it does not capture what you type, and we cannot identify you from it.
When you play a film, Vimeo or YouTube may set their own cookies under their own policies. YouTube films are loaded through YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode.
You can block all of this with your browser's privacy settings or a content blocker. The site still works.
6. How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become a project are deleted within 24 months. Client and project records are kept for 7 years, as required for tax records. Site statistics are kept in aggregate by the providers above, under their own retention periods.
7. Your rights
Under the PDPA you can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it, stop using it, or delete it where the law allows. Email us and we will respond within 21 days. You can also withdraw your consent at any time; that may mean we can no longer work on an ongoing project.
If we ever have a data breach that affects you, we will notify you and the Personal Data Protection Commissioner as the law requires.
8. Films and people on camera
Films and stills on this site were made for our clients and are shown as portfolio work. If you appear in one of them and would like it removed, email us and we will take it down.
9. Changes
If this notice changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.

- Apabila anda menghubungi kami melalui e-mel atau WhatsApp: nama, nombor telefon, alamat e-mel, syarikat, dan maklumat projek yang anda kongsikan.
- Apabila anda menjadi pelanggan: butiran pengebilan, butiran pendaftaran syarikat, dan maklumat projek yang diperlukan.
- Apabila anda melawat laman ini: statistik penggunaan tanpa nama, seperti halaman yang dilihat, sejauh mana anda menatal, apa yang anda klik, jenis peranti, pelayar, negara dan laman rujukan. Lihat bahagian 5.
Laman ini tiada borang dan tiada akaun. Kami tidak meminta nombor kad pengenalan anda.
3. Tujuan penggunaan
- Membalas pertanyaan anda dan menyediakan sebut harga.
- Merancang, merakam, menyerahkan dan membuat invois bagi projek anda.
- Menyimpan rekod yang diwajibkan oleh undang-undang cukai dan perniagaan Malaysia.
- Memahami cara laman ini digunakan supaya kami dapat memperbaikinya.
Pemberian butiran hubungan adalah secara sukarela. Tanpanya, kami tidak dapat membalas atau bekerjasama dengan anda. Kami tidak menjual data anda dan tidak menggunakannya untuk pengiklanan.
4. Pihak lain yang mengendalikan data
Kami hanya berkongsi data dengan perkhidmatan yang membantu kami menjalankan studio: Netlify (pengehosan laman), Cloudflare (penghantaran video), Microsoft Clarity (statistik penggunaan), Google (fon web, e-mel), Meta (WhatsApp), Vimeo dan YouTube (hanya apabila anda memainkan filem), akauntan kami, serta kru atau rumah produksi rakan kongsi bagi projek berkenaan. Sesetengah penyedia ini menyimpan data di luar Malaysia, termasuk di Amerika Syarikat.
5. Statistik laman dan kuki
Laman ini sendiri tidak menetapkan kuki. Pilihan bahasa anda disimpan dalam storan tempatan pelayar anda sahaja. Kami menggunakan Microsoft Clarity untuk melihat bilangan pelawat, bahagian yang dibaca, di mana pelawat berhenti menatal dan apa yang diklik, termasuk sama ada pautan WhatsApp, e-mel atau telefon ditekan. Ia dijalankan dalam mod tanpa kuki Clarity, jadi laman ini tidak memintanya menyimpan kuki penjejakan pada peranti anda. Clarity mungkin merakam sesi tanpa nama bagi pergerakan tetikus dan tatalan; ia tidak merakam apa yang anda taip. Vimeo dan YouTube mungkin menetapkan kuki mereka sendiri apabila anda memainkan filem. Anda boleh menyekat semua ini melalui tetapan pelayar.
6. Tempoh penyimpanan
Pertanyaan yang tidak menjadi projek dipadam dalam tempoh 24 bulan. Rekod pelanggan dan projek disimpan selama 7 tahun seperti yang dikehendaki bagi rekod cukai.
7. Hak anda
Di bawah PDPA, anda boleh meminta untuk melihat, membetulkan, menghentikan penggunaan atau memadam data peribadi anda setakat yang dibenarkan undang-undang. E-mel kami dan kami akan membalas dalam tempoh 21 hari. Jika berlaku pelanggaran data yang menjejaskan anda, kami akan memaklumkan anda dan Pesuruhjaya Perlindungan Data Peribadi seperti yang dikehendaki undang-undang.
8. Filem dan individu dalam rakaman
Filem dan gambar di laman ini dihasilkan untuk pelanggan kami dan dipaparkan sebagai portfolio. Jika anda muncul dalam salah satu daripadanya dan mahu ia dikeluarkan, e-mel kami.
9. Perubahan
Sebarang perubahan pada notis ini akan disiarkan di sini bersama tarikh baharu.
